Punit Khurana: Cafe owner Punit Khurana committed suicide in Model Town, Delhi. He accused his in-laws and wife of harassment and violating orders in the divorce case.

Punit Khurana Suicide Case: A cafe owner in Delhi's Model Town area, Punit Khurana, committed suicide. Before committing suicide, Punit recorded a 54-minute video on his mobile phone in which he made allegations against his wife and in-laws. In the video, Punit said that he was tortured a lot and the court orders in the divorce case were not being followed. This video went viral on social media and the police have included it in further investigation.

In the video, Puneet clearly said, "I am going to commit suicide because my wife and in-laws are harassing me a lot. We had already applied for divorce with mutual consent and signed the terms in the court, but now they are pressurising me with new terms." He also said that his in-laws demanded Rs 10 lakh separately which he could not pay. Puneet mentioned his parents in this context, about whom he said he did not want to trouble them further.

Police are investigating the matter

The police took statements from Puneet's family and confiscated his mobile phone and other related belongings. Deputy Commissioner of Police, North-West Delhi, Bhisham Singh confirmed that Puneet's phone has been sent for forensic examination. The police are now investigating the matter further and may call Puneet's wife and in-laws for questioning. Puneet's body has been handed over to the family after post-mortem.

No response from wife and in-laws

There has been no response from Puneet's wife and in-laws in this case. The police are seriously investigating the matter and this investigation can reveal what was the real reason behind the suicide.

This tragic incident has once again raised the issue of domestic violence and mental harassment.
