Bihar Crime News: An FIR has been registered at Bhagwan Bazar police station on the statement of the victim. The main accused has been arrested by the police. The matter is being investigated.

Chhapra Gangrape: In Chhapra, Bihar, four friends gang-raped a 12th class student. The incident is said to have happened on Thursday evening (16 January, 2025). The main accused Rishi Kumar along with his three friends carried out this incident. He has also admitted this to the police during interrogation.

The student had come to Chhapra to give her practical exam. When she was returning from here by bus, Rishi Kumar, who was connected to Instagram, asked her to get down on the way. Both of them knew each other from Instagram. The accused made an excuse to meet. When the girl arrived, Rishi along with his three friends gang-raped her behind PN Singh College.

The police arrested Rishi

In this entire case, an FIR has been registered in Bhagwan Bazar police station on the statement of the victim. Bhagwan Bazar police station in-charge Subhash Kumar took immediate action and arrested the accused Rishi Kumar. He is a resident of Brahmapur in Bhagwan Bazar police station area. The rest of the accused are said to be from Brahmapur and Shyamchak. They have not been arrested yet.

SHO Subhash Kumar said that one accused Rishi Kumar has been arrested. Raids are being conducted to arrest the remaining accused. The arrested accused and the victim were already acquainted. Both are also friends on Instagram. The girl's medical examination has been done at Sadar Hospital. FSL team has been sent to the spot for verification.

Information has been given in this entire case by issuing a press release from the SP office. It has been said that the accused Rishi Kumar has been arrested. Raids are being conducted to arrest other accused. Sub-divisional Police Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Headquarters) Basanti Tuddu has inspected the spot and further action is being taken.
