On Thursday morning, 14-year-old Ritika Kumari, daughter of famous eye doctor Dr Lalan Prasad, resident of Girihinda Chowk of Sheikhpura district, left for DAV School, Chakandara as usual. But on the way, she met Mamta Devi, wife of Manoj Sao, the maid of the house, and she coaxed the student and took her to her house. Mamta mixed an anaesthetic in the tea and made the student drink it, due to which she immediately became unconscious. After this, Mamta took her and boarded the bus going to Chewada. But fate had something else in store.
The female student was saved due to the alertness of the local people.
Some passengers got suspicious after seeing the unconscious girl sitting with Mamta on the bus. They asked the maid about the girl. When they did not get a satisfactory answer, they threatened to call the police. Hearing this, Mamta got scared and told the truth. Hearing this, the passengers present there were shocked. People immediately informed the girl's father about this and stopped the bus at the railway crossing near College Mor. The father, who reached the spot, took the girl in his custody and informed the police.

Sheikhpura SP Baliram Kumar Chaudhary said that on the information given by the maid, the police arrested tantrik Salim Khan from the wasteland of Bajidpur. Now the police are interrogating him.
