A shocking case has come to light from Hardoi in Uttar Pradesh. Here a daughter-in-law, out of greed, plotted to commit theft in her own house. When her theft was revealed, the entire family was stunned. The police have arrested the accused daughter-in-law, her brother, and two other women and sent them to jail.
In fact, fearing that the jewelry would be given to the sister-in-law at the time of marriage, the sister-in-law got her mother-in-law's jewelry stolen with the help of her brother and two friends. During the investigation of the incident, the whole matter came to light and the police arrested four people including three women. After being produced in court, they were sent to jail.
Veeravati's elder son Pradeep, a resident of Jhinwa village of Sursa police station area, lives in Premnagar of City Kotwali area. Veeravati had kept her jewellery with Pradeep's wife, i.e. her daughter-in-law Suman. Meanwhile, Veeravati fixed her daughter's marriage. The wedding is to take place in April.
Suman started thinking that her mother-in-law would give all her jewellery to her daughter at the time of marriage. On this, Suman made a plan to steal it along with her brother Sudhir and her neighbours Anita and Geeta. Suman gave her mother-in-law's jewellery to her brother Sudhir. Sudhir took the jewellery and kept it with Anita.
On 11 February, Suman went to the village with her family. During this time, she gave the keys of her house to Anita and Geeta. Both of them went to the house and vandalised it and scattered the things, which made it look like a theft had taken place. On 12 February, the police registered a report of the incident and started investigation.
A complaint of theft was lodged
On February 12, Veeravati had lodged a complaint about the theft of jewellery and cash from her daughter-in-law Suman's house. Investigation revealed the shocking fact that Suman herself had planned the theft along with her brother Sudhir and two neighbouring women, Anita and Geeta. At present, all four accused are in jail. Further action against them is underway.
