Before the assembly elections to be held in Rajasthan this year, the Narendra Modi government at the center has played a big bet. PM Modi has given Arjun Ram Meghwal, MP from Rajasthan, a big responsibility in the Union Cabinet. Union Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Culture Arjun Ram Meghwal has now been made the Law Minister of the country. Before the assembly elections to be held in the state this year, this is being considered as a big step of the Modi government.
According to reports, after taking away the Law Ministry from Kiren Rijiju, its responsibility has now been handed over to Arjun Ram Meghwal. According to a release issued by Rashtrapati Bhavan, Kiren Rijiju has now been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Earth Sciences. On the other hand, Meghwal has been given independent charge as Minister of State for Law.
Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore has congratulated Arjun Ram Meghwal on getting the responsibility of Law Minister. He tweeted Hearty congratulations and best wishes to Arjun Ram Meghwal, Union Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Culture, Government of India, on being made Law Minister.
