Before the assembly elections to be held in Rajasthan this year, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has once again taken a big step to strengthen the medical and health services in the state. He has taken many important decisions in expanding services in this direction. He has given approval to operate satellite hospitals, sub-district hospitals and community health centers in the state.
Community Health Center, Gangapur located in Sahada Panchayat Samiti of Bhilwara will now be upgraded into a satellite hospital. Angari Sub Health Center of Panchayat Samiti Thanagaji of Alwar, Sinwar Sub Health Center of Jhotwara Panchayat Samiti of Jaipur, Semal Sub Health Center of Panchayat Samiti Jaisamand of Salumber and Kharka Sub Health Center of Panchayat Samiti Salumber will be upgraded to Primary Health Center.
Approval has also been given for creation of various posts. Community Health Center of Panchayat Samiti Kapasan of Chittorgarh, CHC of Nadbai Panchayat Samiti of Bharatpur, CHC of Panchayat Samiti Sambhar of Jaipur and CHC of Mavli Panchayat Samiti of Udaipur will be upgraded to Sub District Hospital.
Jodhpur's Mahamandir Urban Primary Health Center will be upgraded to a Community Health Centre. Mandesara of Panchayat Samiti Bhainsrodgarh of Chittorgarh district and Chechi Primary Health Center of Panchayat Samiti Begun will also be upgraded into Community Health Center.
