Before Lok Sabha elections, Bhajanlal government gave big relaxation to these people of the state!

Before the Lok Sabha elections to be held in the country this year, the Bhajan Lal government of the state has given a big discount to the electricity consumers. The BJP government of the state has now decided to start an amnesty scheme to provide huge relief to the electricity consumers by providing 100% waiver of interest and penalty on depositing the original outstanding amount of disconnected electricity connections before March 31, 2023. A big step has been taken.

Minister of State for Energy (Independent Charge) Hiralal Nagar has given this information. He said that under the amnesty scheme, consumers will get 100 percent exemption in interest and penalty on depositing the principal outstanding amount in lump sum on all categories of connections disconnected before March 31, 2023 in the three electricity distribution corporations of the state. This amnesty scheme will remain effective till 31st July.

Hiralal Nagar said that agricultural consumers will be able to deposit the principal outstanding amount in maximum 6 bi-monthly installments without interest and penalty. Such consumers will be given the benefit of the scheme only if they deposit the installment on time. This is an important step of the Rajasthan government before the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
