Jodhpur girl got married to an Australian citizen in 2008
The victim's wife filed a complaint in court through her lawyer Vishal Saraswat. In which she accused her husband and in-laws of dowry harassment and domestic violence. She said that she was married to an Australian citizen residing in Jodhpur in 2008. Since the marriage, she had to face mental and physical torture.
After hearing the arguments of both sides, the court gave a wonderful verdict.
It was also mentioned in the complaint that she was repeatedly harassed for dowry and no financial help was given for the upbringing of the children. Due to this, the victim had to face a lot of difficulties. After hearing the arguments of both parties, the court ordered the husband to pay Rs 1.20 lakh per month as maintenance for the children and wife. The court made it clear that ensuring the protection of the rights of women and children is its priority. Now it remains to be seen whether the accused husband follows this order or not. If he disobeys the order, legal action can be taken against him.
