Atul Subhash: Filmy style of police, this is how they caught Nikita, mother-in-law and brother-in-law in the hotel!
Bangalore police arrested the mother and son accused in the engineer suicide case in a filmy style. The policemen entered the hotel posing as doctors and nurses and caught the accused by deceiving them.
Bangalore police arrested the accused in engineer Atul Subhash's suicide case in a filmy style. The story of this operation is no less than a crime thriller. To arrest Nikita's mother and brother, who was hiding in a hotel in Jhunsi for four days, two Bangalore police personnel stayed in the hotel disguised as a doctor and a nurse.
Mother and son were hiding in the hotel, police kept an eye on them all night
The police got the location of the accused on December 13. The same night, two Bangalore police officers—Madam Shivappa and Vinitha A—arrived at the hotel posing as a doctor and a nurse. They checked the hotel guest register and located the accused's room. The mother and son were staying in room number 111 of the hotel, while the police officers stayed in rooms number 101 and 108.
The police officers did not sleep the whole night and kept walking around the hotel. At 8 am they went to the accused's room and had a long conversation. After this, at 11 am they booked a cab from the hotel itself, took both of them into custody and left for Bangalore via flight from Varanasi airport.
Local police were not informed
This high-profile arrest was kept so confidential that even the local police did not get a clue about it. Jaunpur District Police DCP Abhishek Bharti said that Bangalore Police did not give any information regarding the arrest or operation.
Confirmed by CCTV footage
The hotel's CCTV footage showed the mother and son entering the hotel on Wednesday night. The footage showed that the mother did not step out even once during the four days she stayed in the hotel. The son stepped out wearing a mask but returned soon, taking precautions.
How was the matter revealed?
After the Atul Subhash suicide case, Nikita's mother Nisha and brother Anurag fled from their house in Jaunpur on the night of 11 December. Both reached a hotel in Tahirpur Bandhwa village of Jhunsi and started hiding there. On 13 December, Bangalore police passed a notice at their house. After this, the police traced the exact location and arrested both of them from the hotel on Saturday.
