The Indian team, captained by Rohit Sharma, captured the Asia Cup by defeating Sri Lanka by ten wickets in the final on Sunday. Team India won the Asia Cup for the eighth time. With this victory, many records have been registered in the name of Team India. On the basis of six wickets of Mohammed Siraj, Sri Lankan team was reduced to only 50 runs, in reply the Indian team won in only 6.1 overs. 

With this, India has become the first team to win the ODI final by 10 wickets on two occasions. It defeated Zimbabwe by 10 wickets in Sharjah in 1998. Team India won with 263 balls remaining, which is its biggest win in this case.

This is also the biggest win in terms of balls remaining in an ODI final. Whereas the Indian team defeated Sri Lanka on the minimum score. 50 runs is also the lowest score in an ODI final.
