Ashok Gehlot made this big announcement a day before Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jayanti

A day before the birth anniversary of a famous social reformer Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has taken a big step. CM Ashok Gehlot has today announced to declare of April 11 as a public holiday on the occasion of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jayanti.

Ashok Gehlot has informed about his decision through social media. CM Gehlot tweeted in this regard that keeping in view the demand of all public representatives and intellectuals, it has been decided to declare April 11 as a public holiday on the birth anniversary of a great social reformer Mahatma Jyotiba Phule.

According to reports, Women and Child Development Minister Mamta Bhupesh, Rashtriya Phule Brigade, and several social organizations and people's representatives have written letters demanding the declaration of a public holiday on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule. With this step of Ashok Gehlot, now the number of public holidays in Rajasthan has increased to 30.
