Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has taken one more sensitive decision in the interest of children orphaned due to Covid-19 epidemic. Under this decision of CM Ashok Gehlot, now the state government will provide free education and free admission in college hostels to the children orphaned due to the Covid-19 epidemic in government schools as well as government colleges of the state.
Taking a sensitive decision in this regard, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved free education to 306 such students in government colleges and free admission in hostels.
It is worth mentioning that earlier, under the Chief Minister's Corona Assistance Scheme, there was a provision to provide free education in government schools and free admission in residential school hostels till class-12 to the children orphaned due to corona.
Now expanding its scope, the Chief Minister has also decided to provide free education to such children in government colleges and free admission in government college hostels. Ashok Gehlot has approved to give free admission to 306 such students and widow candidates who are eligible for admission till September 3, 2021 in the first year of graduation. He has also given this information through social media.
