Before the assembly elections to be held this year, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has now given a big gift to leprosy-free specially-abled people. CM Gehlot has now increased the pension amount for leprosy-free special persons.

Now these people will get a pension amount of Rs 2500 per month from the state government. CM Ashok Gehlot has approved the financial proposal in this regard. It is worth mentioning that at present there are 16,810 leprosy-free social security pensioners in the state, who are being given a pension amount of Rs 1500 per month. Which has now been increased to Rs 2500 per month.

The enhanced pension amount will be available from 1st May 2023 (due 01.06.2023). An announcement in this regard was made by CM Ashok Gehlot in the budget for the year 2023-24. With this step of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, leprosy-free specially-abled people will get financial relief.
