The Ashok Gehlot government of Rajasthan may ban the Hinduist organization Bajrang Dal in the state. Such indications have been given by Govind Ram Meghwal, a cabinet minister in the Congress government of the state. This statement of the Gehlot government minister has come after the Congress promised to ban the Hinduist organization Bajrang Dal in the Karnataka election manifesto.

According to reports, cabinet minister Govind Ram Meghwal said that Karnataka and Rajasthan are not separate. Permission to commit crimes in the name of Lord Shri Ram will not be given even in the state and such people will be dealt with strictly.

During this, when Govind Ram Meghwal was asked whether Bajrang Dal would be banned in Rajasthan as well, he replied that there would be a meeting with Congress leaders in this regard and only after discussion any kind of decision could be taken.

Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore has targeted the Gehlot government on this statement of Minister Govind Ram Meghwal. He tweeted that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is giving an absurd statement of banning Bajrang Dal in Rajasthan like your minister in Karnataka. After all, which section of the Gehlot Panel Code (GPS) makes it an offense to raise slogans of Jai Bajrang Bali and Jai Shri Ram? The answer, why so much fear in the name of Bajrang Bali?
