The accused carried out this crime by disguising themselves as eunuchs. Both of them used to disguise themselves as girls at night and get lifts from truck drivers on the highway. As soon as the truck driver stops the truck, they enter the truck, commit the crime, beat him up loot him and then run away.
Residents of Madhya Pradesh and looting in Rajasthan
Truck driver Mahendra Sodiya, a resident of the Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh, had complained to the police that on the night of December 16, 2024, two eunuchs forcibly sat in his vehicle on the 200 feet bypass. They assaulted the driver and snatched Rs 41,600 cash, a mobile, purse and identity card. After the incident, both the accused fled from the spot.
Police formed a special team to catch the accused
After the complaint was filed, a team was formed under the direction of Jaipur West Deputy Commissioner of Police Amit Kumar. This team included the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Alok Singhal, Assistant Commissioner of Police Alok Gautam, and Thanadhikari Gajendra Singh along with other policemen. The police took immediate action and arrested the accused from the Girdharipura area.
Disguised as a transgender, he used to cross all limits with Pooja on the highway
The arrested accused include Ashok alias Annu Saini (24) and Puja (25). Ashok, along with Puja, used to forcibly enter trucks parked on highways and bypasses in disguise as a transgender. After this, they used to threaten the drivers and loot their cash, mobiles and other belongings. Police have recovered Rs 40,000 from the looted cash from the possession of the accused. Both have been arrested under Section 307 and other related sections. Police are interrogating them in connection with other incidents.
