Union Home Minister Amit Shah will take a holy dip in the Maha Kumbh today. Yesterday, on Sunday, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav took a dip in the Ganga and today Shah will take a dip in the Sangam. After this, he will meet the saints of the Akhara. Lakhs of devotees have gathered in this Maha Kumbh, which is being held after 144 years. So far, crores of devotees have taken a dip. This Maha Kumbh has been called the Maha Kumbh of equality and harmony.

Recently, during a program in Gujarat, Amit Shah said that such an opportunity for Maha Kumbh has come once in 144 years. Everyone should go to it. He said that I have gone to Kumbh 9 times in my life, and have also seen Ardh Kumbh. He said that Kumbh gives the message of harmony and unity. Shah had also urged the people of Gujarat, especially the young generation, to come to Maha Kumbh.

Shah said that Kumbh gives a message of harmony and unity because it does not ask which religion, sect or caste you belong to. Food is available without any discrimination. No event in the world gives as powerful a message as Maha Kumbh in terms of harmony and unity. In Maha Kumbh, any person can take a bath in the Ganga regardless of his identity.

Shah said that people from all over the world are surprised to see the scale on which the Maha Kumbh has been organized in Prayagraj. He said that many ambassadors asked me for an invitation. I said that there is no need for any invitation in Kumbh, crores of people can come here without invitation. This has been going on for thousands of years. It continued during the rule of the Mughals, the British and even the Congress.

Akhilesh had taken a dip of faith yesterday

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav visited Ganga at Maha Kumbh on Sunday. He had come here with his son Arjun. He took 11 dips. After taking a holy dip at Sangam, Akhilesh said that better arrangements could be made. Even earlier governments had better arrangements for Kumbh. Maha Kumbh should have a positive message. Harmony, harmony, tolerance should remain. This is our resolution.

He said that I have seen with my own eyes that elderly women and men are coming to Maha Kumbh on foot from far off places, but if the government is spending thousands of crores of rupees on Maha Kumbh, then there should have been some arrangement for the elderly so that they do not have to walk much. He further said that BJP should fulfill the resolution of purity of Maa Ganga. Even today many drains are falling into the river Ganga.
