Amit Shah: Amit Shah said- Reservation based on religion is unconstitutional

Assembly elections are to be held in Karnataka on May 10 and before that regional parties along with BJP and Congress have also become active there. Along with this, the round of public meetings is also going on continuously. Addressing the public meeting, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that reservation based on religion is unconstitutional.

Shah further said that the BJP will implement the reservation 'formula' adopted by the government led by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai in Karnataka. Addressing the people, Amit Shah said that the BJP has given tickets for the May 10 assembly elections in Karnataka based on winnability and not based on majority or minority.

At the same time, he claimed that former Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar, who left the BJP and joined the Congress, would not win the election this time. He told that Hubli-Dharwad has always voted for BJP.
