A list of 40 star campaigners has been released by the Congress for the assembly elections to be held in Karnataka next month. The surprising thing is that the name of former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan Sachin Pilot is not included in this list.

While Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has got a place in this list. The ongoing tussle in Congress in Rajasthan is believed to be the main reason for this. So far, in every election, the Congress party has been giving place to former state president of Rajasthan Sachin Pilot in the list of star campaigners, but this time Pilot has been dropped from the list of star campaigners.

Significantly, Sachin Pilot had recently observed a fast in the capital against the Ashok Gehlot government. After this, he also rejected the MLA Feedback Program.

It is believed that this is the reason why Sachin Pilot has not got a place among the star campaigners for the Karnataka elections.
