Alert: Petrol pumps will remain closed today and tomorrow in Rajasthan, may be closed indefinitely from 15th!

On behalf of Rajasthan Petroleum Dealers Association, petrol pumps will remain closed on 13th and 14th September i.e. today and tomorrow. Let us tell you that the association has announced a strike. In such a situation, petrol and diesel will not be available for two days at 6712 petrol pumps across the state. Let us tell you that this strike will last from 10 am to 6 pm. 

According to media reports, the dealers of the association are saying that if the government does not accept their demands, they will go on an indefinite strike from September 15. However, even during the strike, emergency vehicles like ambulance, fire trucks etc. will get diesel-petrol.

If reports are to be believed, according to the reason for the strike, Rajasthan Petroleum Dealers Association is demanding reduction in VAT on diesel and petrol in the state. The President of the Petroleum Organization says that there is only one demand from the government. VAT on diesel petrol should be reduced in the state and brought at par with Punjab.
