After kidnapping the girl, she was raped for two days, then sold for Rs 5 lakh in Delhi

Dumka News: A case has come to light in Dumka, Jharkhand where a girl was kidnapped at knifepoint, raped and then taken to Delhi to be sold. A girl from a village in Hansdiha police station area has lodged a case in Hansdiha police station regarding the incident.

Kidnapped and raped all night

According to the girl, on the evening of 7 December, she was returning home from the village grocery store. Meanwhile, Mahavir Marik of another community of Baniyara village reached there with another person and forcibly took her on a motorcycle to Hansdiha station at knifepoint. But since she could not get a train, he took her from there to some unknown place and raped her the whole night.

Raped several times in Delhi too, and also tried to sell her for Rs 5 lakh

The next day the accused took her to Bhagalpur and from there to Delhi. After reaching Delhi, she was raped several times for two days there as well. According to the victim, meanwhile, on 11 December the accused along with his accomplices was going to sell her for 5 lakh rupees. The accused had also struck a deal with someone in Delhi. The accused was taking her to the chosen place to sell her when her father reached Delhi searching for her and she was saved from being sold. After which her father brought her back home.
