AAP leader Sanjay Singh attacked RSS-BJP, said- we have not changed our character
Aam Aadmi Party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh recently launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in a press conference. He alleged that the BJP has not changed its old ideals and character. Sanjay Singh said that the BJP insults patriots and martyrs and also despises the 1857 revolution. Sanjay Singh further alleged that the ancestors of the BJP used to spy for the British during the freedom struggle and are doing similar things even in today's time.
He also said that a conspiracy is being hatched to remove the statue of Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi near the RSS headquarters, which is an insult to the brave freedom fighters.
The statue of Jhansi ki Rani is being removed.
He said that the statue of Jhansi Ki Rani Laxmibai was installed near the RSS headquarters, but now they are plotting to remove her statue as part of a conspiracy. He further said that these people do not consider the tricolor as their flag and insult patriots. They have insulted the country for 53 years. He said that the statues of Gandhiji, Ambedkar, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj were installed inside the Parliament, they were also removed and now they are going to remove the statue of Jhansi Ki Rani, the braveheart of 1857.
Answer sought from RSS.
He further said that now we are going to tell in Haryana also that insulting patriots is treason. These people will run their campaign in Delhi also and will remove the statue, but we will not let this happen. Singh further said that if the statue of Jhansi Ki Rani is not installed, then will the statues of traitors be installed? This is unforgivable and we will not let this happen. He said that former Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal had written a letter to RSS, and RSS should have replied to it, but they did not give any reply to this letter. He said that the purpose of this press conference was to seek answers from the BJP. I want the BJP to answer these questions.
