However, the good news is coming regarding the Aadhaar-PAN linking. The news is that the deadline for linking PAN-Aadhaar by the Central Government is a bit more.

Can be extended for more months. According to reports, a notification in this regard may be issued soon by the Income Tax Department.

As per the May 2017 notification, linking PAN with Aadhaar has been made mandatory for those who do not fall under the tax exemption category. If any person does not do this work by the due date, then his PAN will become inactive.
