Woman's head got separated from the body when her dupatta got stuck in the fodder cutting machine, she died on the spot By Vishwanath Saini Updated: Thursday, January 2, 2025, 20:53 [IST] Rajasthan News: A tragic incident has happened in Nindola village of Govindgarh near Jaipur, Rajasthan. Manju Devi died a painful death after being caught in a fodder-cutting machine for animals. While cutting fodder, her dupatta got stuck in the wheel of the machine, due to which her head got separated from the body. This incident happened on January 1 at 6 pm, when she had gone to her maternal home to mourn the death of her grandmother.

Manju got married 16 years ago

Manju Devi, 35, was married to Badri Prasad Yadav 16 years ago. They have two children: Yash, who is 12, and Kavya, who is 10. Manju left her children with her in-laws in Arnia (Shrimadhopur) and came to her parents' house in Devthala (Govindgarh). Her husband works as a lecturer in a government college in Samarwata (Udaipur). This accident happened while he was cutting fodder with his cousin Anurag

On December 31, Manju reached her grandmother's house in Nindola village with her husband. After this Badri Prasad went to Udaipur for work. On January 1, this accident happened while cutting fodder with his cousin Anurag. Anurag was moving the mustard-winnowing basket forward, while Manju picked it up and handed it to Anurag. Anurag said that as Manju bent near the engine, her dupatta got stuck in the engine wheel. The speed of the wheel was so fast that he could not react immediately to prevent the accident. Due to the force of the wheel, Manju's neck hit a nearby stone, due to which her head was immediately separated from the body.

Aftermath and Reactions

 The suddenness of the incident left Anurag shocked. In a panic, he switched off the engine but found that Manju had died on the spot. Manju Devi had come to condole the death of her grandmother on December 23. Her husband dropped her off at Nindola village on December 31 and then left for his duty in Udaipur.
