A railway employee molested a girl, angry passengers beat him to death from Lucknow to Kanpur.

Passengers beat a railway employee to death on the charge of molesting a girl in the AC coach of Humsafar Express going from Barauni to New Delhi. He was beaten so badly from Lucknow to Kanpur that he died. GRP took him to the hospital at Kanpur Central but the doctors declared him dead. The mother of the victim has filed a complaint of molestation against the accused deceased, while the family members of the railway employee have also given a written complaint of murder to the police.

Angry passengers took the accused railway employee from Lucknow's Aishbagh to Kanpur Central while beating him. The deceased railway employee has been identified as Prashant Kumar. According to information received from the railway, a family from Siwan boarded the Humsafar Express running between Samastipur-New Delhi on Wednesday. Their 11-year-old daughter was also with them. The railway employee present on the train molested her.

According to GRP, on Wednesday night at 11.30 pm, the 11-year-old daughter of a family traveling in an M-1 coach was made to sit on the seat of a railway employee Prashant Kumar present on the train. It is alleged that when the girl's mother went to the toilet at night, Prashant molested the girl. Seeing this, she started crying, on the accused scared her. Here, when the mother came back from the toilet, the victim girl told her the whole story while crying.

The mother, along with her husband and father-in-law, informed the passengers of the coach about the incident. Enraged by this, the passengers and family members caught the railway employee. Enraged at the molestation of the girl, people started beating Prashant. By the time they started beating him, the train had reached Lucknow's Aishbagh. The passengers took the accused to the gallery and beat him with kicks and punches to Kanpur Central. The victim's family informed the railway control about this incident.

Railway employee dies due to beating.

As soon as the train arrived at platform number seven of Kanpur Central at 4.35 am on Wednesday, the police took the accused employee into custody and took him to the police station. The victim's mother and relatives also reached the police station. The police started action on the complaint of the mother. Prashant, who was seriously injured due to the beating, was sent to KPM by GRP for medical examination, where the doctors declared him dead. The deceased's relatives were informed about this. They have accused the police of murder.
