If someone commits a theft with us or you, the first thing we will do is contact the police. Usually everyone does this but such a case came to light in Tumkuru, Karnataka, where such a thing was stolen from the victim's house, after which he is not even ready to come forward to testify due to shame and fear of disgrace. However, somehow the police came to know about the incident and the accused was arrested. The arrested accused is an engineer by profession. He was fond of watching blue films. After watching porn films, he would go to the girl students' hostel and steal their undergarments from there.

Police have arrested a 25-year-old engineering graduate for stealing innerwear of girl students living in his area. He has been identified as Sharat, a resident of IV Cross, SIT, Tumkuru. The girl students living in the rented house were upset due to their innerwear being stolen. Initially, they kept quiet but after such incidents increased, they complained to the hostel staff. After which the matter was reported to Tumkuru police. When the CCTV footage was scanned, a scooty was seen coming and standing below the girl students' house.

The accused's parents are teachers

In the video, the man was seen stealing women's innerwear and fleeing from the spot. He confessed to the police that he stole women's innerwear from houses in SIT area, SS Puram and Ashoknagar of that city. The police claimed that he was addicted to watching blue films. Sharat is a resident of Chikkanayakanahalli in Tumkuru district. His parents are teachers and his elder brother is also an engineer. They were not aware of Sharat's activities until the police knocked on their door.

The students were not ready to lodge a complaint

Sharat was released on bail with a warning not to do such acts in future. A senior police officer said that the students were not ready to lodge a complaint or testify. The officer said that the man confessed that he was returning home after swimming, when he saw the underwear and stole it.
