Amit Singh Parihar. Singrauli. Fraudsters swindled Rs 4 lakh from the account of a doctor couple in Singrauli. The couple, without panicking, found a solution that the money was returned to the account within an hour. Let's know how all this happened. The whole incident is as follows. On the evening of December 7, at around 7:00 pm, Doctor Rajiv Chaudhary received a call from an unknown number 8920504815. The caller said, 'I am Captain Satish speaking from Sainik School. A medical examination of 40 children has to be done before admission to Sainik School. What is the charge at your place? Doctor Chaudhary said ₹ 300 per patient charge. He said ₹ 500 per patient charge for the audio matriculation test. Fraud caller Colonel Satish finalized the medical examination of 40 children and said that tomorrow he would make him talk to his senior officer Colonel Rawat and make the payment.'

After this, on December 8, the doctor again received a call from the same fraud number. The caller spoke to Dr. Chaudhary posing as Colonel Rawat. He asked for the location and visiting card of his clinic. Then Dr. Chaudhary gave Captain Satish's mobile number to his clinic staff and asked them to call him. The staff sent the doctor's letter pad on WhatsApp of the fraud mobile number. After this, Dr. Chaudhary again received a call from Captain Satish. He said that I have to make the payment for the children's checkup. Which payment app do you use? Then Dr. Chaudhary told him to use the i-Mobile app.

When Dr. Chaudhary asked him to make the payment through a mobile number and QR code, he refused. The fake caller said that he was making a video call. He made a video call on the doctor's other mobile and asked him to complete the process on his i-mobile as per his instructions. Then the doctor couple opened their i-MOBILE app.

Getting influenced by the caller, Doctor Chaudhary kept on doing the process. During this time, about four lakh rupees were deducted from Doctor Chaudhary's bank account in two instalments. Then Doctor Chaudhary realized that he has been defrauded. Doctor Chaudhary immediately reached Singrauli SP Manish Khatri. Then he contacted ASP Shivkumar Verma and Vindhyanagar Police Station Inspector Archana Dwivedi. Through Singrauli Cyber, the doctor couple was immediately called in 1930 and a complaint was registered. In a short time, the deducted amount was returned to the doctor couple's bank account.
