A couple of students studying in class 10th in Ghoshaldih village school killed 30-year-old shepherd Santosh Mahato alias Majnu. The couple was having physical relations in the forest.

During this time the shepherd noticed both of them. After this, both of them together killed the shepherd. The police have arrested the boy and girl.

Villagers said that on Tuesday afternoon around 12 noon, the students were found in an objectionable position in the Vishvadih forest, around one kilometre away from the East Tundi police station.

Santosh was grazing the cattle in the forest like every day. He saw the lovers in an objectionable situation. He knew both of them well. The lovers also knew the shepherd.

Several blows were made with a big stone

After this, both of them felt that the shepherd could inform their relatives. So, both of them together threw Santosh on the ground.

He was hit on the head several times with a big stone lying nearby. The blows were so strong that his eyes popped out. Meanwhile, Santosh was screaming continuously.

Hearing his noise, two small children of the village came running there. Seeing them, the lovers started running. Both the children recognized the couple, and they immediately ran and informed the relatives and villagers about this.

The people of the village rushed after getting the information

The villagers rushed after getting the information. By then the young man had died. The weeping relatives informed the East Tundi police station.

The police officer reached the spot. A silver chain and condoms were recovered from the spot. A blood-stained stone was also found near the head with which he was attacked.

The students have confessed their crimes before the police. They have said that they both loved each other.

The rape accused was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment

On the other hand, the special POCSO court has held Ashutosh Singh guilty of luring a minor into sexual relations with her and raping her again after showing her photographs.

After hearing on the point of punishment, the court has sentenced the accused to ten years of imprisonment. For the first time, he entered the house of a minor girl from Kanke in November 2017 and forcibly had sex with her.

During this time he made a picture of the minor. At that time the victim was only 13 years old. The victim told this to the accused's mother. But, the accused's mother abused the victim at that time.

The accused raped the victim again after five years by threatening to make her photos viral. He threatened the victim's father and demanded money.

After this, the victim's brother lodged a named FIR at Kanke police station on 29 June 2022. After the FIR, the police arrested him on 30 June 2022 and sent him to jail.
