Clouds of crisis are seen hovering over the Uddhav government of Maharashtra. With more than two dozen MLAs of Shiv Sena veteran leader and minister Eknath Shinde in Gujarat, the clouds of crisis are hovering over the government.

According to reports, Eknath Shinde along with 15 Shiv Sena MLAs, one NCP, and 14 Independent MLAs is frozen in Surat, Gujarat. Shinde is unable to contact Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray as he switched off his mobile. According to reports, Eknath Shinde may now demand Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray to break the alliance with the NCP and Congress and form the government with the BJP.

Due to this move of Eknath Shinde, there was a stir in the BJP camp located in the national capital Delhi. Home Minister Amit Shah reached the house of Bharatiya Janata Party National President JP Nadda. At the same time, former Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis has also left for Delhi.

The Uddhav government of Maharashtra currently has the support of 169 MLAs. If 30 MLAs led by Eknath Shinde revolt, the Uddhav government will be reduced to a minority. For many, the support of 145 MLAs is necessary. BJP has the support of 113 MLAs.
