Weather Update: These states should be careful! Rain will wreak havoc for four days from today, Meteorological Department's alert issued


IMD Weather Forecast Today Rainfall Alert: In the second phase of the ongoing monsoon, it is raining heavily in many states across the country. Heavy rain in some areas of Kerala (Kerala), Karnataka (Karnataka), Andhra Pradesh (Andhra Pradesh) has once again increased the problems of the people due to more rain than expected. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert for the states where moderate to heavy rain has been predicted for the coming few days. At the same time, between August 6 and August 7, there is an alert of heavy rain in western Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh.


Meteorological Department Forecast
According to the Meteorological Department, a red alert has been issued for heavy rain during August 6 to 9 in Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Konkan and Goa. There will be heavy rain in Madhya Pradesh (MP) and Saurashtra on August 8 and 9. Similarly, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha between August 7 and 9. There is an alert of heavy rain in Telangana, Coastal and North Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Kerala from 6 to 9 August. On the other hand, for western UP (UP), continuous rain has been forecast for the next 48 hours i.e. 6 and 7 August.

Alert for Central India
There is an alert of heavy rain in Gujarat on August 9. On the other hand, torrential rains have been forecast for Chhattisgarh, parts of Maharashtra, Konkan and Goa on August 8 and 9. According to the IMD, there will be rain in West Bengal, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh on August 5. Apart from this, there is going to be heavy rain in Jharkhand on 6th August.


Yellow alert in Northeast
At the same time, there is an alert of heavy rain in Odisha, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura between 6 and 9 August. Whereas in West Bengal, moderate to heavy rain has been predicted from 6 to 7 August.
