Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has given a big gift to the state employees as well as the veterinary intern students.

Ashok Gehlot tweeted in this regard today that the proposal has been approved to give dearness allowance on the stipend payable to the students of veterinary interns at par with the students of Ayurveda and medical interns.

Now along with a stipend, a dearness allowance will also be given to the intern students of Veterinary.

The state government gives dearness allowance on a stipend to the intern students of Allopathy and Ayurveda department like the state employees, whereas there was no such provision for the intern students of Veterinary.

After getting approval, now Veterinary intern students will also get a dearness allowance along with a stipend from April 1, 2022. According to the announcement made in the budget of 2022-23, orders have been issued earlier to increase the stipend payable to veterinary intern students from Rs.3500 to Rs.14000.
