A State Level Task Force will soon be formed to reduce road accidents in Rajasthan. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has given such instructions while addressing the review meeting of the Transport and Road Safety Department at the CM residence on Friday. He has given this information through social media.
He tweeted that the number of state-of-the-art interceptors is being increased in the state to take action against the drivers who disobey the transport rules. He directed that a State Level Task Force should be constituted soon to reduce the accidents.
Efforts, innovations, and campaigns made in the past to improve road safety management, and reduce accidents, should be continued. The concerned departments including transport, police and public works should work in full coordination and establish the state as a model state in road safety management.
The state government is committed to saving every single life by reducing road accidents. The government is working continuously to prevent accidents with sensitivity. Transport, police, and concerned departmental officers have been instructed to make all possible efforts. The officers were instructed not to be negligent in action and to take strict action against the owners and drivers who operate the vehicle against the rules.
