Utility News: In the Senior Citizen Pilgrimage Scheme, 1933 pilgrims of Jaipur will do the free pilgrimage!
Under the ambitious senior citizen pilgrimage scheme of the state government, this time 1933 passengers will get a chance to travel. Out of this, 193 people have been selected for air travel and 1740 people for rail travel.
On Tuesday, a committee constituted under the chairmanship of Urban Development and Housing Minister Shanti Dhariwal, the online lottery of pilgrims was taken out from the official residence of Dhariwal. During this, District Collector Jaipur Prakash Rajpurohit and Assistant Commissioner-First Devasthan Akash Ranjan were present. Under this online lottery, 1933 pilgrims were selected, who would be provided free pilgrimage by the state government.
On this occasion, Dhariwal selected 1933 passengers separately out of a total of 6 thousand 761 applications received from Jaipur district by clicking through special software prepared on the computer. Through this lottery, a total of 193 passengers were selected for air pilgrimage and 1740 passengers were selected for pilgrimage by rail.
Travel to these places will be done:
193 pilgrims selected for air travel will be made to travel to Pashupatinath-Kathmandu. At the same time, 1740 passengers were transported by rail to Rameshwaram-Madurai, Jagannathpuri, Tirupati, Dwarkapuri-Somnath, Vaishnodevi-Amritsar, Prayagraj-Varanasi, Mathura-Vrindavan, Sammedshikhar-Pavapuri, Ujjain-Omkareshwar, Gangasagar (Kolkata), Kamakhya (Guwahati), Haridwar- Visit to Rishikesh, Bihar Sharif and Velankani Church (Tamil Nadu) will be done.
