The state government is taking all possible measures to control the lumpy disease by taking awareness and sensitivity toward bovine animals. Giving information about the matter, Animal Husbandry Minister Lalchand Kataria said that we have to work diligently to deal with this challenge so that there is no loss of animal husbandry.
Lalchand Kataria said in this regard that it has been the tradition of Rajasthan that at the time of any kind of disaster, people's representatives, and voluntary organizations have been getting support, and will continue to get it in the future also.
He informed that under the joint aegis of Rajasthan Cooperative Dairy Federation and Animal Husbandry Department, vaccination is being done in bovine animals for the prevention of lumpy skin disease.
So far 11.61 lakh animals have been treated out of 12.12 lakh animals affected by lumpy in the state, in 6.91 lakh animals have become healthy.
He informed that till now Ajmer 55090, Kuchaman City 37697 Bharatpur 59625, Chittorgarh 74327 Alwar 79999, Jaipur 33817, Jhunjhunu 3796 Banswara 74000 Rajsamand 8928 Kota 64779, Bundi 64158, Bandra 84383, Jhalawar 84636 Pratapgarh 83947, Udaipur 54893, including Vaccination has been done in 1232197 animals.
