Former Education Minister Vasudev Devnani has targeted the Ashok Gehlot government for reserving 10 seats every year to the donor in Mahatma Gandhi schools.

In this regard, Vasudev Devnani tweeted that the state government is bent on destroying the education system, the government's reservation of 10 seats per year to the donor in Mahatma Gandhi schools is a clear violation of the RTE Act. Under the right to education, taking admission by any school by spending an extra amount is prohibited.

Contrary to the basic spirit of the RTE Act, equal education for all, this order will not only destroy the institutional structure of the government school but will also lead to further division of the education system by strengthening such demand by private schools.
