The central government should implement the model of public welfare schemes of Rajasthan in the whole country so that every section gets strength. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said this while inspecting the block level Rajiv Gandhi Rural Olympic Games activities at Nawan in Nagaur and Dudu in Jaipur on Tuesday.
During this, Gehlot met the players and encouraged them. He laid the foundation stone for various development works, and inaugurated and performed Bhumi Pujan.
In the function, the Chief Minister said that there is no shortage of any kind to make Rajasthan a leader in all sectors including education, medicine, roads, electricity, water, agriculture, and employment in the state.
The Chief Minister said that the rural sports talents have been encouraged by the historic organization of the Rajiv Gandhi Rural Olympic Games. These players will become medal winners for the country at the international level in the future.
During this, Ashok Gehlot appealed to the Prime Minister to declare the Rajasthan Eastern Canal Project (ERCP) as a national project in the interest of 13 districts of Rajasthan. He urged the Prime Minister to address the countrymen to create an atmosphere of non-violence. Also, keeping in view the geographical conditions of Rajasthan, cooperate in providing 'Har Ghar Nal' under Jal Jeevan Mission by placing the state in a special category.
