Rajendra Rathore targets the Gehlot government over English medium schools

Deputy Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathod has targeted the Gehlot government of the state regarding Mahatma Gandhi's English schools. In this regard, BJP leader Rajendra Rathod tweeted today that the Gehlot government had made a budgetary announcement in the budget 2022-23 to start 1200 Mahatma Gandhi English Schools in villages with a population of more than 5000, which are currently being operated to implement. The mischief is being done to convert Hindi medium schools to English medium.

There are a large number of students who do not want to study in English medium schools and are now forced to go 25 km away to study and take admission in private schools due to the lack of Hindi medium schools in their area. The decision of the government has created a crisis in education in front of the students.

In the budget announcement, the government had also announced to recruit 10 thousand teachers by creating a separate cadre of English medium teachers, which is still in limbo. Neither the government recruited teachers in English medium schools nor made proper arrangements for the education of Hindi medium students.
