Rajasthan: Now students will get better facilities in hostels run by Social Justice and Empowerment Department, CM Gehlot took this big step


Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has taken a big step regarding the state hostels and residential school hostels run by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department. 

CM Gehlot has now given financial approval of Rs 58 crore for the improvement and expansion of the mess system of these hostels. With this decision, the mess in the hostels will be strengthened and the students will get better facilities.

For expansion and improvement of the mess system in government hostels, this amount will be spent on the repair of the mess block, dining table, steel rack, deep fridge, water cooler, and necessary equipment, etc. It is noteworthy that this approval has been given in compliance with the announcement made during the discussion of the Finance and Appropriation Bill 2022-23.

On the other hand, Ashok Gehlot has approved the proposal for the creation of new 3 faculties and 18 posts at Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner. As per the proposal, along with the establishment of three new departments Accounting and Business Statistics, Economic Administration and Financial Management, and Master of Business Administration in the university, these will include 3 for academic work, 6 for Associate Professor, and 9 for Assistant Professor. The creation of posts has been approved.
