Rajasthan: Energy Minister Bhanwar Singh gave these instructions to the officials in the interest of farmers
Energy Minister Bhanwar Singh reviewed the schemes and activities of Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation on Thursday. During this, he directed the officers to speedily complete all the projects related to renewable energy in the state and fulfill the targets of Kusum Yojana in the interest of farmers.
After review in the meeting, instructions were given by Energy Minister Bhanwar Singh to the corporation officials that solar parks of renewable energy should be completed in a time bound manner as well as district wise work for the completion of 722 MW projects allotted in wasteland Kusum Ghatak-A in the interest of farmers. Speed should be provided by planning, as well as instructions were given for planning to start the next phase of the scheme.
The Energy Minister directed action to promote solar rooftops in the state and publicize the importance of energy conservation and energy efficiency to the general public.
In the review meeting, Chairman of the Corporation T. Ravikant, while giving information about the achievements in the renewable energy sector of the Corporation, said that Rajasthan has come first in the country in the installation of renewable energy with a capacity of 17040 MW.
