Medical and Health Minister Parsadi Lal Meena, on Wednesday evening, through VC from Swasthya Bhavan, reviewed in detail the preparations for the Chief Minister's Free Nirogi Rajasthan Scheme, which will start completely from May 1 in the state and gave necessary guidelines. . He directed to complete the corrective action registered during the ongoing 'dry-run' of the Chief Minister's Free Nirogi Rajasthan Scheme from April 1 in all the state medical institutions at the earliest. 

Parsadi Lal Meena informed that the Chief Minister's Free Nirogi Rajasthan Yojana, included in the budget announcement 2022-23 of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, is a unique scheme in the country in the medical field. Under this, all the services of OPD and IPD will be made available completely free of cost to all the residents of the state coming to all categories of state medical institutions.

He said that in the month of April, the scheme has been run in the form of dry run and instructions have been given to make arrangements after discussing in detail with the Chief Medical Officers, Chief Medical and Health Officers of district hospitals regarding various progressable activities to come during this period.

Meena informed that with the launch of the scheme, assured arrangements are being made to the Medical College Hospital, District Hospital, CHC, PHC and sub-health centers so that the residents of the state are given all the necessary medicines, health check-ups and operations. Facilities should be made available completely free of cost. 

Apart from the available resources, he directed the officers to complete all the necessary other resources and arrangements at the earliest.
