Rajasthan: Candidates will get 6 days of free transport facility to participate in REET Exam-2022


The free transport system will be provided to the candidates in Rajasthan to participate in the REET Exam-2022, two days before and after July 23 and 24 (up to a total of 6 days). Along with this, arrangements for trains and buses will also be made for about two lakh candidates coming from other states from the station near them. 


This information was given by Chief Secretary Usha Sharma while presiding over the meeting related to the transportation of candidates at the Government Secretariat here on Monday. 

The Chief Secretary directed the higher officials of the concerned departments and agencies to ensure that the conduct of the REET exam is error-free. He said that photo identity cards should be issued to the personnel at the examination centers only by the ADM (Additional District Collector) so that accountability and transparency should be ensured in conducting the examination.

In the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary (School Education) Pawan Kumar Goel told through a presentation that 15,66,992 candidates would participate in the REET examination to be held on July 23 and 24. 


Out of these, 13,65,831 are from Rajasthan, in which about 86 percent have been allotted district headquarters on first priority and about 10 percent have been allotted district of second priority. He told that 2,01,161 (about 12 percent) candidates will come from other districts to take the exam.
