Like schools in Rajasthan, now this will happen in college education too, the Chief Secretary gave these instructions
Now the portal will be developed on the lines of the Shaladarpan portal started in school education in the state. Chief Secretary Usha Sharma has given such instructions during the review of the implementation of budget announcements related to the Higher Education Department in the room located at the Government Secretariat on Friday. In order to ensure transparency and accountability in the Higher Education Department, he has directed the development of a portal along the lines of the Shaladarpan portal started in school education.
Sharma said that the state government is working with commitment to create an environment of quality higher education in the state. In order to enable the students of the state to get higher education at their nearest place, a large number of new colleges have been opened in the last budget announcements.
The construction of the buildings of these colleges should be completed in a time-bound manner. Along with this, the construction of such colleges running in the past, whose buildings were not built, should also be ensured at the earliest.
Sharma directed the officers to develop Rajasthan School of Arts School, Jaipur by making a better action plan with the help of experts. The officers apprised the Chief Secretary that a budget provision of Rs.5 crore has been made for the strengthening of infrastructure facilities here, out of which administrative and financial sanction of Rs.2.21 crore has been issued.
Also, the application for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor will be sent to the Rajasthan Public Service Commission in the month of August.
