After this she managed to become an MLA and a minister in the state government. Later she also got a chance to become the governor of Jharkhand. The new President of the country, Draupadi Murmu, always has translations and books of Lord Shiva with them. 


Draupadi Murmu's personal life has been full of sorrows. She was completely broken due to the death of three children and husband. 

According to reports, she remained in depression for almost six months due to the mysterious demise of her elder son. After this she got himself out of depression through meditation.
