Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot asked the Central Government to accept the proposal to extend the road from Paniala Mor to Delhi-Mumbai Greenfield Expressway to Bharatpur and to upgrade the Alwar-Bharatpur road (97 km) as a national highway to a four-lane road. has urged.
In this regard, he has written a letter to the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways. CM Ashok Geelot has written in the letter that the Delhi-Mumbai Greenfield Expressway and the newly constructed Ambala-Narnaul-Paniala Mor National Highway in Rajasthan are being connected by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) through Paniala Mor-Alwar-Barodameo. . This highway will connect to Sheetal Gram Alwar-Bharatpur road located on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, which is 15 km from Alwar and 90 km from Bharatpur.
The Chief Minister informed in the letter that in future the traffic coming from Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and Ambala-Narnaul-Paniala Expressway would need an easy and accessible route to reach Bharatpur, Agra and Mathura. For this reason, it is necessary to extend the road from Paniala Mor to Delhi-Mumbai Expressway to Bharatpur and to upgrade the Alwar-Bharatpur road (97 km) to four lane by declaring it as a national highway.
