Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has now taken a big step in the interest of retired personnel of Rajasthan State Sports Council located in Jaipur. He has given this information through social media.

Ashok Gehlot tweeted in this regard that Rs 13.40 crore has been approved for the pension benefits and payment of pension to the retired personnel of Rajasthan State Sports Council located in Jaipur.

According to the proposal, the pension and benefits of all the retired employees of the council will be borne by the state government and all the properties of the council will be vested in the state government.

It is noteworthy that due to the ban on commercial activities in Sawai Mansingh Stadium by the Hon'ble High Court, the income of Rajasthan State Sports Council is negligible.

In such a situation, the council is a not-for-profit organization and is run by the grant of the state government. All the salaries and allowances etc. of the employees of the organization are borne by the state grant only. In such a situation, now the state government has also given approval for pension benefits.
