Bumper vacancy in railways, you can apply till June 30, selection will be done without an exam!
There is good news for the youth who are dreaming of getting a job in the Indian Railways. Northeast Frontier Railway has released notification for 5636 Apprentice vacancies in various trades in various Workshops/Units.
According to the official notification, there are 919 posts for Katihar & TDH Workshop, 522 posts for Alipurduar, 551 posts for Rangiya, 1140 posts for Lumding, and 547 posts for Tinsukia, 1,110 posts for New Bongaigaon Workshop and for Dibrugarh Workshop. There are vacancies for 847 posts. For which 10th pass candidates up to the age of 24 years can apply online till June 30 by visiting the official website of Railways nfr.indianrailways.gov.in. The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of 10th marks directly without examination. The application fee to apply for Indian Railway NFR Apprentice posts is Rs 100.
Candidates can pay through online payment methods like Debit Card, UPI, etc. Women will not have to pay any application fee to apply for these posts. Apart from this, ST/SC candidates are also exempted from the application fee.
Students should have passed class 10th or 12th examination with a minimum of 50% marks as per the minimum essential qualification.
Candidates should have passed an ITI course in relevant trade from a recognized institute.
The minimum required age to apply is 15 years and the upper age limit is 24 years. The basis for calculation of age has been kept as May 1, 2022.
In the reserved category, there is a relaxation of 3 years for OBC category candidates and 5 years for SC and ST candidates in the upper age limit.
The merit list will be prepared by taking the average of the percentage marks obtained by the candidates in both Matriculation and ITI courses.
Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the 10th examination and in the prescribed trade. This merit list will be prepared in each workshop and unit.
