Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has written a letter to the Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Mansukh Mandaviya urging him to approve the proposals of Government Medical Colleges at Pratapgarh and Jalore at the earliest and make necessary amendments in the provisions for new Government Medical Colleges for Rajsamand district.
Ashok Gehlot has given this information through social media. He tweeted that the proposals for establishment of new medical colleges at Pratapgarh and Jalore district headquarters pending at the level of Government of India, have been requested to be approved under the centrally sponsored scheme and to provide relaxation in the provisions of the scheme for Rajsamand district.
It is written in the letter that there are no government medical colleges in Pratapgarh, Jalore, Rajsamand districts of Rajasthan. The proposal was already submitted to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare by making DPR of Pratapgarh, Jalore, but these proposals have not been accepted yet.
