Ashok Gehlot will give this big gift to the urban people of the state today and will launch this scheme

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will give a big gift to the urban people of the state by launching the Indira Gandhi Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme today.

CM Ashok Gehlot will launch this scheme today in a function to be organized at Ambedkar Bhawan located at Tunnel Square in Jaipur. Earlier, under the scheme, the renovation program of Khania Ki Baori would be started by CM Gehlot. During this, CM will interact with the workers and distribute tools to them.

Earlier, Ashok Gehlot had tweeted that due to Corona, there was a crisis in the economy as well as the livelihood of the common man. During this, MGNREGA, started by the UPA government, provided support to the people living in rural areas to get out of the crisis of livelihood, whereas there is no such scheme in urban areas.

Therefore, in order to provide financial support to the families of the urban areas of the state, especially the financially weak, helpless, and unemployed families, on the lines of MNREGA, the Indira Gandhi Urban Employment Guarantee is now to ensure employment in the cities as well. The plan is being implemented.

This scheme will also help the families living in urban areas to make a living.
