Ashok Gehlot took a big step regarding this plan!


Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has taken a big step regarding the Jal Jeevan Mission scheme. He has given this information through social media. 

He tweeted that Jal Jeevan Mission is an important scheme to provide water from the tap to every household in view of the heterogeneous geographical condition and scattered settlement of the state. In this sequence, under Jal Jeevan Mission, Rs 628 crore has been approved for 45 schemes across the state.

With this approval, various works going on in the state under Jal Jeevan Mission will get momentum and the works will be completed within the stipulated time period so that people will be able to get water from the tap to the village-Dhani.

Under this approval, 12 schemes in the Karauli district of the state, 6-6 in Bikaner and Udaipur, 4-4 in Jaisalmer and Pali, 3 in Hanumangarh, and 2-2 in Alwar, Rajsamand, Sawai Madhopur district, and Sri Ganganagar, Dungarpur, Sikar, Banswara 1-1 scheme can be implemented. Upon completion of the works, a permanent solution to the drinking water problem in these areas will be ensured.
