7th Pay Commission: Modi government can make this big announcement for central employees ahead of time

The Narendra Modi government at the center can once again give a big gift to the central employees. One such step can be taken by the government, under which there will be a substantial increase in the salaries of central employees. The government can increase the DA of central employees up to 46 percent in the second half of this year.

The dearness allowance and dearness relief for the first half of January to June 2023 was increased by four per cent by the Narendra Modi government at the Centre. With this step of the government, the DA of central employees has increased from 38 to 42 percent. As per the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission, the DA of the employees is increased by the Central Government after two years. Now with the increase of four percent by the government, the DA will reach 46 percent.

If reports are to be believed, the government may soon announce the hike in DA for the second half i.e. July to December 2023. This time it is likely to be announced in August. Generally, approval from the government is given in September or October.
