2000 Rupee Note: You can also change the 2000 rupee note from today, know the complete rules before going to the bank

The Reserve Bank of India suddenly announced on Friday that the 2000 note will no longer be in circulation. But whoever has them can get them changed by 30th September. In such a situation, the process of depositing and exchanging Rs 2000 notes in banks is starting from today i.e. from 23rd May.

If you also have 2000 notes, then you can also go to the bank and get it changed from today. For this you can go to any bank. However, only 10 notes can be changed at a time, that means you can get them changed up to 2000 thousand. 

At the same time, RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das said that people have enough time to deposit or exchange their 2000 rupee notes in the bank. No one should panic. For this you do not have to fill any form nor do you have to show any ID.
